Ducks!
I love the spring and all of the changes it brings....
Every year, the low spot in the cornfield across the road collects the spring run-off and then the ducks!
The morning light makes the colors pop....what a lovely experience.

Pretty Boy
I was on my way home from work this morning....the first snowfall was in progress.
Standing in a field adjacent to the road was a gorgeous buck.
Zooming out, you can see that he was courting a doe, and had some possible competition....a little spike buck!

Great Blue Heron with More Than He Could Handle!
I was watching this Great Blue Heron fish today and was surprised to see him dive, then run up to the top of the ridge. Later, while checking my pics, I saw that he actually grabbed a rock and a fish. He apparently realized that if he dropped the rock, he's lose the fish too, so he went to higher ground to keep his catch. Clever boy!!!
